Ads Can Make Both Medium and You Richer

Many Medium writers are aware of the recent CEO change announced last week. While this may be meaningless to most of the world, it has the potential to be very impactful for Medium writers everywhere.

The reason is new CEOs often bring changes. Anyone who has been regularly reading on Medium over the last many months knows there has been a lot of grumbling as of late about stagnant growth and decreased income for writers.

However, it does not have to be this way. There are ways to both increase new members as well as increasing writer income. The most prominent way involves the use of ads.

Things do not need to be this way. There are multiple ways to utilize advertising to benefit both Medium and the incredible pool of writers that make it such a valuable worldwide platform. Below are a few ideas that I will discuss in this story, but there are a lot of other great ideas out there:
