It Shall be Well

What are your hopes and expectations for this new year? Did you enter 2021 fretful or full of hope? Certainly, the year 2020 took many twists and turns that caught us by surprise. Perhaps the challenges of the past year may have stolen your confidence and left you with feeble knees and a shaky faith. Therefore, you’re not too sure what to expect in 2021. If you’re reading this, consider yourself as God’s beloved.

Despite the trials you may have encountered, remember that as a child of God, all things are working for your good. All things means what’s pleasant, unpleasant and everything that’s in between. Our circumstance cannot diminish God’s sovereignty, neither can His faithfulness be tainted by the trials we face. The one who holds and controls the universe has you in His hands and that is enough to keep your hope alive.

Do not allow the challenges you faced last year to strip you of your hope in God. God’s word to us is; “It shall be well with us in 2021.” No matter what 2021 brings, the Lord is with us so we must stay hopeful in all circumstances.

You sowed some good seeds last year, keep sowing and prepare for a harvest! When the storms rage, remember who is in your boat. His presence is always enough. See every hardship you encounter as an opportunity to strengthen your faith in God. Remember and always hold onto His promises.

We are not certain of how exactly 2021 will look like. But we are certain of God’s everlasting presence with us. He will never leave nor forsake us. We will hold onto to His word and face this year with confidence. For it shall be well with us!!!
