My Top 4 Technology Websites To Read Daily

As much as I love Medium both as a consumer and as a creator, I do find joy in reading articles elsewhere. Whether it’s political or economic news or strictly more technology-based topics, here are my top 4 websites that I read daily!

I know IGN has gotten a lot of flak over the years primarily due to the fact that they’ve lost some of their greatest content creators and writer but also because come off as more of a sales pitch to buy more stuff than they do a company focused on reporting video game based news. Yet here I am in 2022 still tuning into their articles from time to time but most importantly I like to both read and watch their video game reviews. Hardly do their opinions sway me in a new or different direction that the one I had already developed but they do often times reinforce my existing beliefs! If you’re interested in video games and want to stay up to date on all the latest news IGN is the place to be!

Engadget is exactly what it sounds like. A punch of people that enjoy reporting out on electronic gadgets and every that revolves around them. Whether we’re talking about new processors from AMD and Intel or how the Pixel 6 from Google has a horrible finger print reader built into the display, Engadget covers it all! I thoroughly enjoy some of their segments that touch on climate change even when it seems to not be related. From crypto mining to sustainably sourced devices, Engadget has a knack for pointing out the sustainability of organizations big or small!

I think The Verge is very similiar to Engadget when it comes to content about software, hardware, crypto, sustainability and everything in between but what I like most about The Verge is the fact that the writers aren’t scared to share their opinions regardless of what some readers may think. They often times write opinion pieces that should belong in The Washington Post instead of some technology focused website, but I love hearing all these various thoughts and the logic behind them! If you’re truly seeking something authentic The Verge is likely the…
