Riley

Riley woke up early. She was in bed with a mountain of blankets piled on top of her. It was freezing in the house. That jackass had turned down the air until it felt like Siberia. She had called him all day the day before, but he never would answer. She left him plenty of messages, though. She kept that up until his phone said that the mailbox was full.

She grabbed the phone from its charger. Finally! There was a text from Seth.

“Ready to sign the papers?” it said.

“Grr…” she said aloud and texted back… “sure, one million in cash, and I’ll be ready to go!”

Hah! Let him stew about that one.

She got up and headed for the shower. It was time to get dolled up and visit her husband. They were about to have a lunch date!

Two hours later, Riley was in her BMW cruising the downtown area looking for Seth’s Cadillac. How a man as young as Seth could drive such an old man car was beyond her. She didn’t complain, though, because it left more money for her car and her clothes.

There! There it was in the parking lot of his favorite sandwich shop, The Happy Dog. It served only hot dogs, can you believe that? How could a grown man prefer eating hot dogs to fine dining was beyond her.

She pulled in the parking space beside his car and put hers in park. Checking the makeup mirror, she was happy with her makeup job. She hadn’t worn this much mascara since her stripper days, but it still looked good on her.

She opened the door and carefully exited the car. The four-inch stilettos that she had chosen for this lunch date were painful to wear. They made her legs look sexy as hell, and that’s why these shoes were Seth’s favorite bedroom shoes. She often wore them during sex and nothing else except a long pearl necklace. Funny how a boring CPA can come alive in certain places, she thought with a little laugh.

Riley made sure the slit in her skirt was in the correct position. She was commando, and if there was a little slip up with her skirt slit, then so be it.
