Whenever a new PM joins a company or takes up the job of leading a new product in the existing company, the first fear that runs in their mind is if they are going to identify and solve the right problem or not.

The previous or current folks who have worked on the product may provide insights and tell you that the biggest problem to solve is ‘x’ but it may or may not be true. One should try to not succumb to the pressure of what has been discovered earlier as a problem statement. It is every PM’s duty to embark on the journey of finding the right problem to tackle and set the priorities for the upcoming times to come.

In this quest of truth, the following pointers may come handy to a product manager:
